Occupational health care

Clinic Service
A Registered Occupational Health Nurse will be in attendance.

The Occupational Health Nurses duties shall be
Pre-employment, annual, periodic and exit medical / health surveillance

These include:
• Health screening Assessment – health risk questionnaire (medical history and occupational history)
• Physical examination
• Vision screening (Snellens chart)
• Review return to work after significant ill heath absence
• Review Post incidents within workplace.
• Identification of potential occupational health risks

The below services would incur additional costs and hence are not included in this service:
• Audiometric tests (Hearing) – pre-employment and periodic
• Spirometry for lung function
• Biological monitoring of employees if necessary

The service of a Medical Practitioner will be provided once a month to provide support for Primary Heath Care and Occupation Health Care.
Emergency Medical Equipment
First Aiders
FastPulse will provide monthly reports and statistics on clinic attendance, disease patterns, occupational illness/injuries, identified risks/hazards.
